In my case, I was asked to replace the Wireless keyboard 800 because the letter had rubbed off. The only way to get the keyboard or mouse to work is to have the matched transceiver. If the transceiver is lost or broken, the mouse can not be made to work. If your mouse and transceiver do not have the "connect channel" buttons, you can't pair them.įor these products, the mouse and the nano transceiver are matched at the factory. Confirm by looking at the pictures in the article linked under "Method 2" in Smittychat's post: Most of Microsoft's newer wireless mouse products do not support user "pairing." I believe that the Mobile Mouse 1000 is one of these.
